The Song of Joan of Arc By Christine de Pisan Stanza 13
And you Charles, now King of France
the seventh in your noble line
You suffered such misfortune and
disgrace before receiving aid divine.
Thanks to God your honor is renewed
by the Maid who has laid low your
enemies beneath your standard of blue.
And this is something very new!
