The Song of Joan of Arc By Christine de Pisan Stanza 16
For there will be a King of France,
Charles, the son of Charles who will
be king of kings in supreme prominence.
Prophecy foretells his coming calling
him 'The Flying Stag' and he as conqueror
will achieve many a great deed.
(For God has called him to this task)
In the end he will be the emperor, indeed.
