The Song of Joan of Arc By Christine de Pisan Stanza 31
Merlin, the Sibyl and Bede
foresaw her coming 500 years ago,
and told in their writings how
she would end France's woe.
They prophesied about her that
she would carry France's banner in war,
and put an end to all the troubles
describing all she would do long before.
