The Song of Joan of Arc By Christine de Pisan Stanza 19
How can you ever thank God enough?
Serve Him always in your every deed
for He rescued you when you were in need.
And saved all of France from war
turning adversity into lasting peace.
What but His holy providence saved you?
Were you ever worthy of deserving
such honor by Him bestowed upon you?
