The Song of Joan of Arc By Christine de Pisan Stanza 60
I pray God that He give you the courage,
to act this way so these wars may cease,
and erase from memory the storms of past
as we all resume our lives in peace.
May you live out your days loyal to
your King without any further offence.
And may he return to you the same in kind
always a ruler with great benevolence.
Amen.

A vous tous qu'ainsy le faciez,
Afin que le cruel orage
De ces guerres soit effaciez,
Et que vostre vie passiez
En paix, soubz vostre chief greigneur,

Et que vers vous soit bon seigneur.
